Fishing report for 10/26/25

Well after weeks of constant wind and rain we finally have a decent report to give! Until next week with the next round of wind and days of rain.

Tog is HOT, definitely the best thing going by far. They honestly have been loaded with sea bass out on the wrecks and reef (deeper the better). Have gotten lots of reports from the jetties and rock piles as well as the piers. Green crabs and sandfleas (live or frozen) are best.

Striper has been heating up since after the storm. Hearing lots of fish in the river becoming active, back bay around sod banks as well. Drifting eels or spot is great but so is anchoring up in deeper water dropping clam and chunking bunker. Night time around the bridges has really been active boat wise using spot and eel and land based has been more plastics. Started getting reports of bass on the troll out front as well using umbrellas, stretches and mojos.

Still hearing some blues around mainly in the inlets, but still some action with them in the surf and farther in the back. Also hearing some whispers of weakfish and specks showing up in the backwater behind corsons on soft plastics.

Shoutout to Liam H. for slamming fish this past week and sending in his photos!
