Fishing report for 04/10/26

This is the fishing report for 4/10/26. Not a crazy change, but still a change to report.

Striper is still hot and heavy in the rivers especially from the banks using bloods and clams. Boat wise its either chunking baits or casting plastics into the creeks on an out going tide. Bass are starting to push out a little bit. Starting to hear some action in the inlets mainly on soft plastics, paddle tails mainly 4-5 inch and color depends on the moment. Still haven't heard any action in the surf but that will change soon enough.

White perch is still a nonstop catch in the rivers when you find them. Focus on anchoring up at mouth's of creeks more so on the outgoing tides. Shrimp (whether it be regular cut in pieces or grass shrimp) or bloods are your ticket.

Tog season opened the beginning of the month to not much action. Fish were deep but consistent. Over the past few days starting receiving reports of fish slowly making their way into the back. With the reports we got it seems they are going for softer baits, shrimp and clam mainly. Much slower of a pick using sandfleas or green crabs. That being said green crabs have been extremely difficult to get but we do have some.

Thank you to Liam Hoffman for sending in this fish he got yesterday in the inlet area. Its finally starting!!
