Summer has ended and now fishing reports are a little easier to do! After a great summer of fishing, temps are starting to drop & has us ready for what's to come this fall.

Fluke have been still heavy in the bay, just a little harder to find keepers in the bay. Deep water 20-30 feet is ideal with gulp and mackerel strips. Wrecks and reefs have been quite decent, with the deeper wrecks being much better with bigger fish with bigger gulp and mackerel again.

Tog, sheepshead & trigger fish have been a constant figure in the back bay this summer. Luckily these fish all hang the same areas so quite easy to find one. 9th street piers and longport have been the hotspots with greencrab, fleas & fiddlers. Have been hearing some great action on the wrecks and reef with some good sized tog, triggers & seabass.

Striper have been around mainly at night around the piers on plastics. Bigger fish have been caught on the boats drifting eels and spot.

White perch have been hot and heavy up every river. Been hearing and seeing lots of keeper sized and lots over 1.5lbs. Bloods and fishbites have been working and if you get grass shrimp that's a goldmine!

Surfside has been a little tough as of late with the hurricane and wind since. When its been fishable it has been great. Kings and spot have dominated the surf all summer on bloods and fishbites. Brown sharks have been a little spotty since the hurricane but i expect them back if they aren't already.

Thanks to Matt Myers yet again for bringing a beautiful 3lb tog he got the other day "down south". He has been catching 30 plus tog per trip all from land!
